Vintage in the Highlands

Salvage Hound is a vintage and salvage shop, selling a range of cool things that have a form or function better than most modern day items. Some other things are just fun or beautiful in their own right.

Old stuff is awesome. Early to mid century design and craftsmanship is unrivalled. A great vintage item, with all its stories to tell, bruises and bashes and a patina from years of use is so interesting and exciting.

I have a particular interest in old machinist items, especially lamps and lights from factories and workshops. I also love items with old advertising slogans especially hand-painted, local signs and posters.
